JASPER, ALBERTA, Canada – Family fun is synonymous with paddle rafting on the mellow whitewater rapids of the Athabasca River in Jasper National Park in Jasper, Alberta. The Athabasca River, which is designated as a Canadian Heritage River because of it’s scenic beauty and history of fur trade exploration, is a river that all people on vacation to this region of Canada can enjoy.
Under your guide’s expert direction you will travel in 6 to 10 passenger, self-bailing rafts through calm but lively whitewater rapids. No experience is needed, only a desire to have fun, experience the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and get wet.
Mile 5 Run – 2 hour round trip
Athabasca River – Class 2
Cost is $59.00 for adults and $25.00 for children under 13, plus GST
Daily departures are at 9am, 3pm & 5pm
Heritage Run – 3 hour round trip
Athabasca River – Class 2
Cost is $79.00 for adults and $37.50 for children under 13, plus GST
Daily departures are at 11:30am
